Experienced IT Security Analyst with working experience in Secure Network design and development also to protect an organization's computing infrastructure from all forms of security breaches and to raise awareness around Information Security. Main Purpose of the Job:

Main Purpose of the Job:

  1. Security Policy Design, update, and Enforcement: Updating BOFINET Security Policies to conform to current standards and assisting the organization in enforcing and implementing the policies.
  2. Incident Management and Response: In-depth Knowledge of incident management and incident response and procedures. Proactive response to security events and incidents from sources such as SIEM, Firewalls, IDS, IPS, Antivirus. Responsible for undertaking post-incident analysis and collaborate with other computer emergency response teams.
  3. Security Assessments: In-depth Understanding of Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing protocols/processes across the enterprise network.
  4. Stakeholder Engagement: Liaising with both internal and external stakeholders in dealing with security issues. Collaboration with other Computer Emergency Response Teams (CERT’s) in Botswana and outside the country. 
  5. Security Systems Configuration and Support/Operation: In-depth knowledge of configuring and operating security tools such as IDS, IPS, SIEM, Firewalls, Antivirus Software, URL Filtering Operating Systems and Advanced Malware Protection.

Main Purpose of the Job:

Reporting to the Head of Finance, the incumbent will be responsible for preparing and maintaining accurate organization budgets, monthly management reports with detailed variance analysis. Main Purpose of the Job:

Main Purpose of the Job:

Main Purpose of the Job: Reporting to the Internal Auditor Manager the incumbent will provide assurance on the adequacy and effectiveness of management controls on BoFiNet network and IT infrastructure and risk responses in place designed to ensure robust and up-to-date systems and network security. 1. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

1.1 Plan and successfully execute network audits in line with annual internal audit plans and international standards and/or best practices.

1.2 Conduct performance audits to facilitate efficiency and effectiveness in execution and delivery of BOFINET projects.

1.3 Perform information technology/systems audits on business units to ensure equity, efficiency and effectiveness in usage of BOFINET information technology resources.

1.4 Undertake internal audit engagements according to the annual plan and as may be necessary for the expediency of the service.

1.5 Review BOFINET networks and other systems to determine level of compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements, international standards, best practices and internal policies and procedures.

1.6 Evaluate the risk management processes in place to safeguard operations and activities of BOFINET networks and information technology systems.

1.7 Undertake special audits that may involve investigation and other consultancy requests from Management and BOFINET Board of Directors as well as produce reports of the department to the Board of Directors and/or any other forum where there is need to prepare a report.

1.8 Review security detail, physical and access/logical, of all BOFINET network and related systems and provide professional advice on necessary actions to address any shortcomings that may have been identified.

1.9 Participate in other audits that may be outside network and information technology systems areas of specialization as may be necessary to achieve the overall mandate of BOFINET Internal Audit Services.

1.10 Investigate allegations of corruption reported through BOFINET anti-corruption channels and/or any form that relate to illegal usage or abuse of the company network.

1.11 Provide consultancy services as may be requested by stakeholders and as part of delivering Internal Audit Services mandate.

1.12 Participate in overseeing management of BOFINET anti-corruption initiatives.

1.13 Produce a draft report, for discussion and approval by Internal Audit Manager before issuance, upon conclusion of each internal audit engagement specifying risks identified and mitigation plan.
