Main Purpose of the Job:
A role exists within UPICtv for a dynamic and proactive individual with good communication skills. The candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing the content available on the platform, content curation, organization, quality control, and ensuring a seamless user experience.
Job Responsibilities
• Evaluating the relevance, quality, and appropriateness of content for the target audience.
• Adding and maintaining accurate metadata for each piece of content, including titles, descriptions, genres, release dates, and cast information.
• Ensuring that the metadata is optimized for search and discovery, enhancing the user experience.
• Conducting quality checks on all uploaded content to ensure it meets the platform's standards for video and audio quality.
• Addressing any technical issues or discrepancies in content delivery
• Managing licensing agreements and ensuring compliance with copyright laws.
• Keeping track of content rights, expiration dates, and renewal negotiations.
• Implementing features that improve content discovery and user engagement.
• Working with cross functional teams to develop strategies for maximizing revenue through content offerings.
• Drive user acquisition and retention with a goal to drive commercioalization.
• Analyzing viewer data to understand user preferences and trends for better content monetization.
• Using analytics tools to track and analyze user behavior, content performance, and other relevant metrics.
• Making data-driven decisions to improve content recommendations and overall platform performance.
• Staying informed about industry standards, regulations, and best practices related to content distribution and management.
• Addressing user feedback and resolving issues related to content availability, playback, or other user concerns.
• Providing support to customer service teams in handling content-related inquiries.

Academic Qualifications and Experience
The candidates should have attained the following:
• A degree in areas of Media Studies, Broadcast Management, Film & TV Production is required.
• At least two years’ experience in a similar role.
• A demonstrable practical experience will be required.
